ABOUT MY SERVICES

I am based in New York City and will provide individualized one-on-one virtual coaching sessions for individuals ages 16+ with a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder and/or an intellectual disability. I will work collaboratively with you to identify measurable goals related to areas of life such as skill development, behavior issues or social and emotional relationship struggles. Together, we will create a plan for achieving these goals by figuring out your strengths and triumph over obstacles that may be in your path. Each session will be customized to meet your specific needs.

Typically, we meet for a 45-minute session each week for the first couple of months and then start reducing the frequency to give you an increased opportunity to work on your goals independently between sessions. The length of time we work together depends on the number of goals you have, while giving you the flexibility to work at your own pace.

Here are some things we could work on together:

  • Social communication and conversational skills
  • Social and community engagement
  • Establish independence
  • Building and maintaining friendship skills
  • Executive functioning skills
  • Transition planning (ex. Moving, starting a job, school transition)
  • Interpersonal relationships
  • Daily living skills
  • Employment skills and support
  • Time management skills
  • Basic Budgeting
  • Self-advocacy
  • College preparedness and study habits
